Finocket for marketplace sellers

Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho and quick-commerce orders compared with their settlements — differences surfaced, the TCS on each settlement shown, stock drawn down automatically, and buyer-state GST decided per order.

Online seller

Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, quick-commerce: every marketplace pays you less than it collected, and the difference hides in fees, returns and TCS. Finocket pulls your orders and settlements in and shows where your own invoices and the marketplace’s settlement view disagree, so you can chase the difference.

Your first day

Open Marketplace ordersOrders, settlements and the differences, reconciled

Your rhythm

Daily: orders land by themselves; watch low-stock flags before a listing goes dark, and, with the online sellers pack switched on, pack the orders that Ship-by deadlines lists first. Weekly: review settlement differences (fees, returns, adjustments) instead of trusting the payout blindly. Monthly: the GSTR-8 reconciliation compares your invoice taxable value with each marketplace’s settlements. That screen does not read the TCS a marketplace reported in its GSTR-8. With the online sellers pack switched on for your workspace, the TCS credit ledger compares it with the TCS on your settlements once you type it in: you enter what each marketplace reported, from the GST portal, and it sets that beside the TCS on your settlements, month by month. It does not check either figure against your books. Without the pack, compare it on the GST portal before you file. Accepting the credit is always your step on the portal. Buyer-state logic decides CGST/SGST vs IGST per order and flags anything unrecognisable instead of guessing. Yearly: your marketplace year closes with the same books as everything else, in one Tally handoff.

Some checks can also run on a schedule as scheduled agents. The settlement reconciliation and GSTR-8 credit check agents cannot read the settlement or GSTR-8 data yet, so they say so and do nothing rather than guess. Nothing is filed or claimed on your behalf.

With the online sellers pack switched on

Everything in this section appears only when the online sellers pack is switched on for your workspace. Without it, none of these cards or buttons shows, and the screens work as described above. A card that could not read its data says so in red. That is never the same as having nothing to show.

Tour one order

On Marketplace orders, tap Tour one order. The tour follows the first order on the list through both of its views: its money on Marketplace orders, across the Orders, Settlements and Returns tabs, then the same order as a parcel on Online orders, with its money under the parcel trail. Tap Skip tour to stop at any step.

The Orders tab: what needs you today

  • Orders needing attention counts, among the orders on screen, the orders with no invoice yet, the invoiced orders that no settlement names 21 days after the order date, and the orders with a return requested and no return receipt yet. While a count is still being worked out, its line says it is checking; if it could not be checked, the line says why.
  • Ship-by deadlines uses the deadline the channel itself set: Amazon’s latest ship date, Flipkart’s dispatch-by date. It counts the orders past the deadline, due within 12 hours, on time, and dispatched by the channel, and lists the late and nearly late ones with their deadline in India time, so you can pack those first. An order counts as gone once a parcel is booked for its invoice in Finocket, once your warehouse dispatches it, or once the channel’s last update says it was dispatched; a cancelled order leaves the count. Orders that carry no ship-by date are counted on their own line and never judged on time. The latest 200 deadlines are checked. On Online orders, every order wears the same verdict as a badge: overdue, due soon, ship by, Left late, Left on time, Left (channel) when only the channel says it went, or No ship-by date. Open an order to read why in one sentence.
  • Oversold: channel orders above stock, per item per day looks back 30 days. For each item and each day, in India time, it sets the units ordered on every channel beside the stock available that day: what you had before the day plus what arrived during it, across all your godowns. Each day that went over shows how many units over. Order lines not mapped to an item, and items you do not track in stock, are counted as not checked rather than left out.
  • Seller particulars lists the five details a marketplace must show about you under the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, rule 6: your registered legal name, your principal place of business, your GSTIN, your PAN, and a grievance officer with a contact. Each one says Present, Missing or Could not read, and where to fix it. Your PAN is read from your GSTIN (characters 3 to 12), never kept separately. The card only reads your records; it never says you are compliant. Legal name, address and grievance officer are set on your online shop’s Policies tab, so a seller with no online shop sees where they would go but cannot fill them in here yet.

Ship-by deadlines and Oversold read all your channel orders, so the filters at the top do not narrow them. Orders needing attention counts only the orders the filters show.

Online orders: one order’s money, and SKUs that matched nothing

  • Open an order on Online orders. Under its parcel trail, Money shows the invoice the order became (Open invoice, or Not invoiced yet), the Settlement lines that name this order with their kind and amount, and the Parcels booked on that invoice with their status and AWB.
  • When an order line’s SKU matched none of your items, the order shows Map these SKUs to your items. Tap Map to an item, pick the item from your catalogue and tap Save mapping. Every unmapped line with that SKU from the same channel takes the item, and the next order that names the SKU maps by itself. A line with no SKU at all cannot be mapped here. Only people whose role can make changes see this.
  • Picked the wrong item? A SKU that already has an item is listed under Already mapped SKUs. Tap Change item, pick the right one and tap Save mapping, or tap Clear mapping to leave the SKU with no item. Only the lines that carry the item you are changing from, on the same channel, are moved. A correction is refused while any of those orders already has stock reserved, a pick list or an invoice, and a SKU that one of your published listings names goes back to that listing’s item on the next pull, so fix the listing too.

Cash on delivery: courier remittances

On Shipments, with the online sellers pack switched on, the COD remittances card (it appears once you have a delivered parcel with a cash-on-delivery amount, or a remittance on record) lists the cash a courier owes you: every delivered parcel with a cash-on-delivery amount that no remittance has covered yet, added up per courier. When the courier pays, tap Record a remittance, choose the courier, tick the parcels that payment covers, type the reference, the date, the amount that reached your bank and the fee the courier kept, and tap Save remittance. Before you save, the card says what the parcels add up to and the difference. A remittance is saved even when it does not add up, and then shows Matches or how much it is short or over, so a courier that paid less is visible rather than forgotten. A parcel can be in one remittance only, and a remittance covers one courier. Entered it by mistake? Tap Edit to correct its reference or date, or tap Undo and confirm: its parcels become owed again. The card reads cash-on-delivery parcels only; it does not read your bank, and it does not check the courier’s own statement. Until the pack’s remittance SQL is applied it says it is not available yet. Only people whose role can make changes see the form.

Selling channels: each marketplace’s own GSTIN

On Selling channels, each connected marketplace account has an Operator GSTIN: the marketplace’s own GSTIN, from its TCS statement. Tap Add or Edit, type the 15 characters and tap Save. Finocket checks the length, the state code and the last check character before it saves, and names what is wrong. Clear removes it. GSTR-1 Table 14 groups your marketplace sales by this GSTIN. Finocket keeps it on each account; it does not prepare Table 14 for you yet. If your role cannot make changes, you see the GSTIN without the buttons.

What is on your shop: the stock each listing gets

On What is on your shop, for your own shop (Shopify, WooCommerce):

  • Hold back and Share % on each listing: units you keep back from this shop, and the share of your stock it gets, from 0 to 100. Leave either blank for none. Beside them, Will push shows the number the next publish sends: this shop’s share of what is available, less the units held back. It moves as you type. The two values are saved when you publish the listing, and publishing waits until both boxes hold something it can accept.
  • Sellable by godown opens to show, per godown, what is on hand, what is held and what is sellable. The shop is always sent the total, because no godown is chosen for a shop.
  • Send stock now on a live listing sends its number straight away, and Send all sends every live listing on the shop. Each listing gets its own line: sent, not sent with the shop’s reason, or, for a shop that reads your stock from Finocket live, nothing to send.
  • Listing status on this shop counts your listings as Sending, Live, Taken down and Failed, with each failure’s error text. Retry failed sends the failed ones again and says how many went and how many failed again.
  • Not ready to send names the products that would not go out, and why: no price (a product is never sent at ₹0), a price per measure rather than per piece, no SKU, no HSN/SAC code, or no GST rate.
  • Update in seller console is for Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho and the other channels that take no stock count from Finocket. For each SKU sold there in the last 90 days, it shows the number to set in that seller console, worked out from what is available now. You set these yourself; Finocket sends nothing to those channels. SKUs that match no product are counted, because no number can be worked out for them.

If your role cannot make changes, you see the numbers without the boxes or the send buttons. A hold back or share already saved on a listing still applies when it is published, even with the pack switched off, and the row still shows it.

The money cards on the Settlements tab, including the payout variance alert and profit per SKU, are in Marketplace settlements: fees, payouts, 194-O and the TCS ledger.

Modules & features

The account page your customers see

What a customer of your shop can open for themselves: their orders, where their parcels are, what they have sent back, their saved addresses, their points and their privacy choices. Why a guest checkout does not open it, why it shows where a parcel is and never when it will arrive, how a consent is recorded against the exact wording shown, and why it says “we could not read this” rather than showing a zero.

Product and collection pages on your shop

Every item you sell now has a page of its own, at an address you can share, which is also what Google and Meta need before they will list a product. What a collection is, why the layout is chosen once rather than per item, why stock is shown only when you count it, and why a page that cannot be read never tells a customer you have withdrawn something.

Take UPI straight into your bank — and confirm it yourself

Publish your own UPI handle and shoppers pay you directly, with no provider in the middle. Nothing tells Finocket the money arrived, so you check it against your own bank alert and confirm each one on Shop → Payments — and the order is not confirmed until you do. What your customer sees, how the queue works, and when you should connect a payment provider instead.

Your shop's policy pages, by filling in the blanks

Six fill-in-the-blank templates (terms, returns, delivery, cancellations, privacy and complaints) that you complete in your own words and approve in your own name before anything reaches your shop. Why a blank is never filled in for you, why three of them are needed before your shop can open, what happens if a published page is edited afterwards, and what a lawyer still has to look at.

Your shop's basket and checkout, step by step

What a shopper sees from the add-to-basket button to a placed order: the basket, the coupon box, the four checkout parts, how card payment, cash on delivery and direct UPI differ, and why a basket the shop cannot price shows no total. No shop has taken an order through it yet.

Connect Amazon.in and reconcile settlements

Connect your Amazon Seller account with one tap (or paste tokens), let Finocket pull GST MTR and settlement reports nightly, then convert marketplace orders into real GST invoices.

Flipkart, Meesho & quick-commerce (Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart, JioMart)

Connect Flipkart by API, and bring Meesho and quick-commerce sales in by CSV. Finocket auto-detects the report type and feeds orders, settlements and GSTR-8 reconciliation.

Put products on your shop: the Listings screen

Publish products to a connected Shopify, WooCommerce or Finocket shop and take them down again. What each status means, why available stock is sent rather than shelf stock, how to give one shop a different HSN code or GST rate, and why an unreadable list is never shown as an empty one.
