Finocket for shop & business owners

The owner's map of Finocket: bill and collect daily, GST week around the 7th, bank reconcile in one sitting, and a one-tap Tally handoff at close — with leads and campaigns in the same login when you grow.

Business owner
What Finocket does for a shop or business owner, in under a minute.

You are the salesperson, the accountant and the HR, usually before lunch. This hub lays out Finocket the way an owner actually uses it: bill, collect, know your cash position, and hand your CA a clean file without re-typing anything into five apps.

Your first day

Open your dashboardCash position, outstanding and today's work

Your rhythm

Daily: raise invoices, record UPI and cash the moment they land, check stock, approve expenses. Weekly: chase outstanding (politely, on WhatsApp), send purchase orders, update price lists. Monthly: around the 7th it’s GST week. GSTR-1 and 3B build themselves from your invoices; reconcile the bank in one sitting with statements from eleven Indian banks recognised automatically. Yearly: GSTR-9, books close, and the one-tap Tally handoff your CA imports directly.

You don’t have to hold that rhythm in your head. A scheduled agent reads your own books on a timer and leaves you a notification when something needs you: a Morning books briefing before you open, an Overdue follow-up with a chase drafted per customer, a GST filing countdown that names what would still stop you filing, an Unusual spend watch measured against your own history rather than an industry figure. It tells you and stops there: it never messages a customer, files a return or moves money.

Modules & features

Move tagged jewellery pieces between locations

Add piece tags to a transfer, understand custody on dispatch, receipt and cancellation, and check a piece's current position in Pieces.

Price a jewellery invoice line by karat

Use the karat editor for metal, stones, making and wastage, check rates, and read the saved price breakup in preview and print.

Where a tax figure comes from

Every tax figure in Finocket can show you the government sentence behind it, or tell you there isn't one. Why "no approved rule says this" is the product being careful rather than broken, and what to do when you see it.

Your compliance calendar

Every GST, TDS and income-tax date in one place — stream, day, 3-day, week or month — with the rule each date came from beside it. What a hollow “Not yet sourced” dot means and why it is honest, how filters and the shareable link work, how the nightly reminders work, where the calendar gets its facts about you, and which plans carry it.

The Compliance Newsroom

Tax changes in plain language, each citing the official document it was read out of and approved by a named person first, plus the difference between a change that was announced and one that was notified, which is the one that costs money.

The government lists Finocket fills in for you

HSN and SAC codes, notified unit codes, customs ports, PIN codes and IFSC branches are picked from the government's own lists instead of typed, with importers that show you what a spreadsheet would do before it does it.

Cess, exempt lines and transport details

Record what a supply really is when no tax is charged (nil rated, exempt or outside GST), plus compensation cess on a line, and the full transport leg an e-way bill needs so a consignment never moves on a Part-A-only bill.

The account page your customers see

What a customer of your shop can open for themselves: their orders, where their parcels are, what they have sent back, their saved addresses, their points and their privacy choices. Why a guest checkout does not open it, why it shows where a parcel is and never when it will arrive, how a consent is recorded against the exact wording shown, and why it says “we could not read this” rather than showing a zero.

Product and collection pages on your shop

Every item you sell now has a page of its own, at an address you can share, which is also what Google and Meta need before they will list a product. What a collection is, why the layout is chosen once rather than per item, why stock is shown only when you count it, and why a page that cannot be read never tells a customer you have withdrawn something.

Take UPI straight into your bank — and confirm it yourself

Publish your own UPI handle and shoppers pay you directly, with no provider in the middle. Nothing tells Finocket the money arrived, so you check it against your own bank alert and confirm each one on Shop → Payments — and the order is not confirmed until you do. What your customer sees, how the queue works, and when you should connect a payment provider instead.

Your shop's policy pages, by filling in the blanks

Six fill-in-the-blank templates (terms, returns, delivery, cancellations, privacy and complaints) that you complete in your own words and approve in your own name before anything reaches your shop. Why a blank is never filled in for you, why three of them are needed before your shop can open, what happens if a published page is edited afterwards, and what a lawyer still has to look at.

Hotel & stays: rooms, bookings and GST bands

Add your rooms and beds once, take bookings that can never double-book a room, read every reservation, and see the GST bands on a room night (shown, never charged until your CA signs them off). Not switched on for every workspace yet.

Hotel guest booking page: rooms, holds and tables

The property's own booking page: a guest sees free rooms and the price from the same rules as your front desk, holds a room without paying until you confirm or release it, and asks for a table. Nothing on the page takes a card.

Gift vouchers: issue, redeem, expire

Issue gift vouchers in batches with a face value and an optional expiry, take one as a tender at the till, and read what is left on each card from its ledger. A voucher is a liability until it is redeemed or expires.

Online orders: from the channel to the shelf and back

Read a marketplace or storefront order's lines, map its SKUs to your catalogue, hold the stock whole-or-not-at-all, and hand it to the warehouse to be picked. Every step is kept, and a return opens a receipt against the bill the order became.

Packing, dispatch and taking returns back

A picked list becomes packages with a slip that travels with the goods; dispatching releases what the pick was holding. Returns that arrive by post are inspected before anything goes back on a shelf, then credited against the original bill.

Six boards, one for each person who runs a shop

The owner's ten seconds, the manager's shop, the warehouse queue, the buyer's sell-through, the online channel and the loyalty liability: six boards on one screen, built from the reports you already have. Every panel says whether it is a number, genuinely nothing, or a read that failed, and two of them say plainly what they are still waiting on.

The warehouse: bins, putting away, picking

Bins say where inside a location stock actually sits. A goods receipt queues what to shelve; a pick list holds what is spoken for and records what came off the shelf, short picks and all. Nothing here moves stock out of the building; the bill or the transfer does that.

Your shop's basket and checkout, step by step

What a shopper sees from the add-to-basket button to a placed order: the basket, the coupon box, the four checkout parts, how card payment, cash on delivery and direct UPI differ, and why a basket the shop cannot price shows no total. No shop has taken an order through it yet.

A partner sets up your workspace, you claim it

A reseller, agency or CA can set a client's Finocket workspace up on their behalf (GSTIN, opening balances, plan and any promo already applied) and send a claim link. The client claims it with one email and it becomes theirs, fully set up. The partner is never the client's session; every action is their own, attributed and auditable, and their admin seat survives the claim only disclosed, never silent.

Partner agreement and terms

Publish the terms a partner or affiliate accepts with your invitation. Every acceptance records the version and a fingerprint of the exact text; the shipped template is a starting point and cannot be published unchanged.

Connect Amazon.in and reconcile settlements

Connect your Amazon Seller account with one tap (or paste tokens), let Finocket pull GST MTR and settlement reports nightly, then convert marketplace orders into real GST invoices.

Flipkart, Meesho & quick-commerce (Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart, JioMart)

Connect Flipkart by API, and bring Meesho and quick-commerce sales in by CSV. Finocket auto-detects the report type and feeds orders, settlements and GSTR-8 reconciliation.

Your online brand, in four reports

What each channel kept and what reached your bank, how far orders get before something stops them, which states online sells into that your shops do not, and what keeps coming back — four reports on one screen. Fee percentages are measured against what has settled, website conversion is stated as missing rather than faked, and the reach report compares places rather than pretending it can match people.

Put products on your shop: the Listings screen

Publish products to a connected Shopify, WooCommerce or Finocket shop and take them down again. What each status means, why available stock is sent rather than shelf stock, how to give one shop a different HSN code or GST rate, and why an unreadable list is never shown as an empty one.

Two-way Tally sync

Bring vouchers across from a TallyPrime company and read every one before it reaches your books. Beta, and honest about it: nothing starts a sync on its own yet, and the push back into Tally shows you what would be sent without sending it.

The Tally connector for Windows

The Windows tray program that lets Finocket talk to TallyPrime on your own PC: what it is, what it will look like when it exists, and the three things about it that are honestly not possible today.

Answer the Tally mapping queue

Tally ledgers and voucher types a waiting sync run could not resolve. Answer once per Tally connection and the sync remembers. Nothing is pre-filled, and nothing is ever guessed.

When a Tally sync will not run

Every connection state and what to do about it, how to read a run that stopped partway, why a commit gets refused, and the two reasons nothing is happening at all today.

Undo a Tally sync

Roll a sync run back out of your books, or cancel in Tally what Finocket put there, and understand why some entries are reversed rather than removed, some are kept, and why a cancellation Finocket cannot prove is safe still carries a warning.

What an agent is

Three words cover the whole feature: an agent is who is working, an automation is what it does and when, and activity is what it did and what that cost. An agent watches your books on a schedule and tells you when something needs you, and stays quiet the rest of the time, which is most days.

What automations cost

One credit is one rupee, a typical run is about ₹0.29, so a daily automation is about ₹8.70 a month and a ₹500 pack buys roughly 1,700 runs. Most runs are quiet and cost nothing, because a check that finds nothing never reaches the AI. If you attach your own AI key, automations cost you nothing from us at all.

What an agent will never do

It will never file a GST or TDS return, never message your customer, never move money and never create another agent, and it cannot reach past the modules you switched on and the permissions you ticked. The software has no way of doing any of these.

Mysty voice: start here

Ask Mysty about your business out loud. Who turns it on, how each person verifies, how to talk to Mysty in the app or by phone, what you can ask, and how to stay in control - with a link to the guide for each step.

Verify your phone for Mysty voice

Mysty voice (beta, finocket#1774) needs a phone Finocket can trust is really yours before it will let you call and ask about invoices, dues and GST. This is that one step: add a number and confirm it with a six-digit code emailed to your account.

Talk to Mysty inside the app

Start a spoken conversation with Mysty from the app you are already signed in to - no code to read out. Each conversation lasts 15 minutes and only ever covers your own workspace. This first version is a scripted preview while the live voice service is connected.

Confirm a call to Mysty from your phone

When someone calls Mysty as you, your phone alerts you and Home shows a card. You confirm it is really you on the Verify it's you screen, behind your fingerprint, face or screen lock, or you block the call.

Mysty voice settings and approvals for your workspace

Turn Mysty voice on or off for the whole workspace, choose whether it may only answer questions or also make simple changes, set daily limits, and approve or reject anything a caller asked for that was too risky to run on its own.

What you can ask Mysty by voice

Once Mysty has verified it is you, ask how much you are owed, who owes you most, today's sales or your GST, get a short answer with the total first, have the full list emailed to you, and make simple changes after Mysty reads them back.

Your Mysty voice settings, devices and activity

Turn Mysty voice off for yourself, rename or remove the devices you enrolled, see what Mysty did on your calls, and lock everything at once with "This wasn't me". Workspace owners also choose which confirmation methods and roles are allowed.

Run a pharmacy on Finocket

MRP, batch, expiry and salt/generic name on every line without a custom-field designer, Schedule H/H1/X flagged on the item, and the earliest-expiring batch picked first when an unexpired batch with stock is on record, at the moment a sale is made.

Run a restaurant or cloud kitchen on Finocket

Three shops drawing from one warehouse, transfers on a posted document, counts that post real variance, and every shop's drawer reconciled before the shutters come down.

Run a salon or spa on Finocket

Run a coaching institute on Finocket

Course fees split into instalments a family can keep up with, coaching and printed study material on one invoice with each line at its own GST rate, admissions run as a pipeline from demo class to fee plan, and withdrawals credited on the books.

Run a textile mill on Finocket

Costing from yarn to finished saree: looms weave grey fabric, dyeing and printing go out as job work and come back as a cost line, and the credit limit warns at invoice entry when an agent or trader in the Surat market is over it.

Run a consultancy or coaching practice on Finocket

Estimates a client accepts online, retainers for companies that pay net of TDS, a USD client billed under LUT, and discovery calls that book themselves into the pipeline.

Run a travel agency on Finocket

Every hotel, airline and DMC bill and every receipt matched to its trip, with TCS on overseas packages recorded on the receipt as you collect.

Run a C&F warehouse on Finocket

Run an export business on Finocket

A register of shipping bills, the foreign remittance recorded against each, the date the RBI rule gives you to realise it (and nothing when no rule is in force), and the RoDTEP or drawback you are still owed - next to the export invoice.

The two-minute daily money habit

Record what landed, snap what you spent, glance at the dashboard — two minutes a day keeps the books from ever falling behind.

The GST filing week, in one sitting

Around the 7th: close the month's entries, read the GSTR-1 that built itself, act on 2B/IMS, check 3B and hand off — checking, not compiling.

Month-end close in one sitting

Reconcile every account, read the statements on one shared period, post the period entries, lock the books — a month that closes clean stays closed.

Year-end without the shoebox

GSTR-9 from your filed months, closing entries as balanced vouchers, the Hand-to-CA files in import order, and the personal-tax year closed from the same login.

Automate the follow-ups (consent-safe)

A dunning ladder that nudges at 3, 7 and 14 days and stops on payment; workflow rules that fire once per event; sequences for the longer nurture — with consent deciding every send.

Launch a partner program that pays itself correctly

Program → invites → first-referral-wins attribution → collected-revenue accrual → a locked monthly statement with the tax sheets computed. Airtight maths, no money movement.

On the road, and when the signal goes

Install once, record as if online, collect by UPI QR on the spot, and let the queue sync when coverage returns — and you can ask the browser to keep queued work safe from eviction where it's supported.

Watching for drift

The number worth telling you about is almost always a change against your own normal, not a fixed figure. ₹50,000 of packaging spend is a quiet month for one business and an emergency for another, so a fixed alert either never fires or fires until you mute it. Set a watch on the four drifts that are invisible in one month and obvious across three.
